COLLECTIONS
Art works by the Artist are in private collections all over Asia, Europe and United States of America.

A minimalist by heart, complex and diverse person in the flesh. The evolution of Michael Cu Fua's work unwinds like a diary as he journeys through life documenting the pop-culture of each moment like a time capsule. His work is highly influenced by women, his innate nature to glorify women. A nurtured soul that grew within the embrace of the women in his life... his mother, sisters, past trysts and intimate lovers.

Michael is architecturally trained by profession and an artist in his innate nature. He blends the discipline of his profession with his passion in his artworks. This is quite obvious in the composition of all of his works and paintings. His subjects bursts out and evolves on the canvass in the most personal and provocative interpretations. In the early stages of his career, his works were defined passionately by strong skin tones, fiery orange streaming hair, well defined hands, collarbone and throat. In his evolution to make his works more personal and connected to his soul, he adds his own blood & sperm into the artworks as his very own signature. This personal connection has been consistently present in all his works ever since.

His works transforms, evolves and reinvents as he constantly grows through his timeline in life. His subjects and concepts transcend races and gender... even ideas as well. As much as independent as an artist should be, he marches in beat to his own drums that are synced with the people around him at each passing ebb of time. Beyond the provocative images of his works are subliminal messages rifted in between the strokes of his brush... or pens. Never sacrificing aesthetics, still within the realm of his architectural training, he is an artist of the 21st century, an artist of his time headed straight for the next decade and beyond.
